Flowers

Fresh cut flower bouquets available most weekends from late spring through early fall. Starting at $10/bouquet ($2 discount on your next bouquet if you return the vase). To keep them fresh, I will make them up on Saturday / Sunday morning. On hot summer days they will be placed in the cooler near the “honey house”.

In summer of 2019, I started working with a land biologist through the NRCS on converting a corn/wheat/soybean field to a pollinator space. By Spring of 2021, the seed was introduced. It has taken some time to get the flowers well established. This 3 acre field provides beauty, food (pollen, nectar, seeds) for insects and birds and habitat for Virginia’s wildlife. Many of flowers in our bouquets come from this space.

For the several years, I have been enjoying these blooms. Now I am excited to be offering them to you. So, on most weekends, you can simply drop by and check the honey house / cooler and see what I have in bloom to share with you.
